Linda Gallery is pleased to announce that Linda Gallery Beijing will be relocated from the present premises to a new space 300 meters away still in the 789 Art District, No.2 Jiu Xian Qiao Road, Beijing. The new two storey gallery which will have 1,800 square meters of floor space was once a factory built during the Cultural Revolution. It is now undergoing a holistic re-construction and renovation. (Refer to figure 3 for a full view of the space before renovation)

(Refer to figure 4 for the scene during construction) The gallery building is divided into three halls of different sizes that are 320, 550 and 230 square meters respectively with all necessary conditions fulfilled to cater for the requirements of various exhibitions. The gallery also includes a coffee bar on the first floor which will be convenient for visitors, artists and art collectors to relax and rest. (Refer to figure 5 and figure 6 for the gallery interior design maps)
The gallery will be officially opened this August in conjunction with the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and will house 6 to 8 exhibitions yearly with the focus on contemporary art of China and Southeast Asia.
