Guo Jin

Guo Jin, (b. 1964) born in Sichuan, Chengdu, China. He graduates from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, Chongqing, China. Guo Jin had notable solo exhibitions in Seoul, Amsterdam, Singapore, US and UK; selected group exhibitions put up in Hong Kong, China, UK, Singapore, Germany, Austria.

Guo Jin expresses his art as “a reflection and contemplation of man’s naivete” , explores the concept of time, passing or suspended and the human relation to it. The children in his subject matter, represent the essence of idealism that we possessed. They also remind one of the delightful moments of childhood. The essence of Guo Jin’s work is captured and delivered that the viewer realizes the contribution of innocence, delight, imagination to an individual and a society must never be dimmed again.
