Founded in 1990, Linda Gallery is the premier gallery for East & Southeast Asian contemporary art and sculpture, operating in Singapore, Beijing, and Jakarta. We curate museum-quality exhibitions and art-fair showcases that connect leading regional artists with collectors worldwide.
Key Responsibilities/What you'll do
- Exhibition Ops − Plan, install, and de-install shows and private-sale displays, coordinate lighting, labels, and presentation standards.
- Logistics & Shipping − Oversee packing, customs paperwork, and local/international transport, track artwork moves in Artlogic (or similar )
- Team Leadership − Supervise 7-10 workers admin, and sales staff, schedule shifts, train on art-handling, and enforce SOPs
- Inventory & Facilities − Maintain accurate stock records; manage exhibition storage, condition checks, and gallery upkeep
- Sales & Events Support − Work with sales/marketing to ensure the space, collateral, and data are ready for clients, openings, and art fairs,
- Administration − Handle endor liaison, basic budgeting, supply orders, and operations reporting
Requirements
Relevant background − A degree in Arts Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field is helpful, but equivalent professional experience is equally valued
Operational experience − Hands-on experience in gallery or museum operations, events logistics, luxury retail, hospitality, or any environment where precision presentation and tight timelines are critical
Software proficiency − Comfortable with Microsoft Office, gallery inventory/CRM systems (eg, Artlogic), project-management tools (eg., Trello or Asana), and basic shipping portals✓
Team leadership − Proven ability to supervise and develop a team of 7-10 staff, delegate tasks effectively, and uphold high operational standards
Communication skills − Clear, confident, and persuasive communicator (written and spoken) who can coordinate seamlessly with vendors, couriers, and internal stakeholders
Language skills − Business fluency in English is required; Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia is preferred and will help when liaising with regional clients and partners
Personal style − Proactive, disciplined, and detail-oriented, with strong organisational skills and comfort working toward deadlines and operational targets
