Founded in 1990, Linda Gallery is the premier gallery for East & Southeast Asian contemporary art and sculpture, operating in Singapore, Beijing, and Jakarta. We curate museum-quality exhibitions and art-fair showcases that connect leading regional artists with collectors worldwide.
Key Responsibilities/What you'll do
- Drive art sales − Present and close high-value artwork sales to established and new collectors, consistently meeting ambitious targets
- Client relationship management − Schedule and host private viewings, offering personable, informed service to build long-term connections and repeat business
- Market outreach & networking − Represent the gallery at art fairs, openings, and regional events, leveraging your network to grow clientele
- Sales administration − Prepare proposals, invoices, and logistics, and coordinate post-sale follow-ups to ensure a seamless client experience
Requirements
Sales experience − Ideally 1-5 years in sales or business development, familiarity with the art world or luxury goods is a welcome advantage
Polished communication − An amiable, proactive, and ambitious approach, with strong presentation and negotiation skills
Language skills − Business fluency in English is required, other languages, especially Chinese and Bahasa Indonesia, are preferred to communicate with clients and business associates from the region
Art-world interest − A genuine enthusiasm for contemporary Asian art, formal study in art history or business is helpful but not required.
Reliability & flexibility − Well organised with good follow-through, and open to occasional evenings, weekends, or regional travel when needed.
